The honest fine print
Weight-management options may include FDA-approved drugs and clearly disclosed off-label use when clinically appropriate. POWFIT MD does not offer a standard compounded GLP-1 program. Any rare patient-specific compounding exception would require documented clinical need plus clinician, pharmacy, and legal approval. Medication costs are paid separately to the dispensing pharmacy or manufacturer program. A membership is not a guarantee of a prescription.
Weight Loss questions, answered
Do you have cheap compounded semaglutide?
We do not offer a standard compounded semaglutide program. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved or generic equivalents. A narrow patient-specific exception would require a documented medical need and a lawful qualified pharmacy. We generally prioritize approved products and help patients explore insurance or manufacturer self-pay options.
What if a GLP-1 isn't right for me or is out of budget?
There are other evidence-based medication and non-medication options. Some medication uses may be off-label; if one is considered, your clinician will explain that clearly along with the risks, benefits, and alternatives.
What makes this different from Noom or an app?
A physician who reads your labs, a plan built to preserve muscle while you lose fat, and a local team you can actually see in person. Apps count calories; we practice medicine.
